Our New Boudoir Studio in the Raleigh Area

As many of you know we recently moved to Sanford, NC which is about 40 minutes from Raleigh, Cary, and Fayetteville NC. I love our new home and our neighborhood is like driving through a movie scene, at least according to my sister when she came to visit. Since we bought our home in September 2020 we have been working hard on getting some new sets created for the studio. We did a complete renovation of our basement which turned out beautiful and we now have a bright and airy set and a dark sultry 50 shades of grey set. I’ll be doing another post on our studio soon!

I recently came across a great article by Cosmopolitan, “4 Women on Why They Did Boudoir Shoots in Their 40s, 50s and 60s” Take a minute to read that, it’s the story of 4 women and why they did boudoir and how it affected them. Doing boudoir isn’t just for women in their 20’s - before children and with boobs in their proper places. Feeling sexy doesn’t have an age limit and honestly, some of the sexiest women I have photographed have been in their 40’s 50’s and 60’s. This client is no exception she waited to do her own boudoir shoot until she was 51. She was a little nervous about coming in, and it was her first time doing anything like this, but after she received her album she sent me a text message and told me, “This album is everything! Worth every penny Thank you so much!”
