Boudoir Photos in Raleigh | 4 Outfit Ideas for Curves
If you have been looking for ideas of what to wear to your boudoir shoot and you have a curvy body type then this blog is for you! I am going to show you 4 great examples from my recent Sanford studio.
The Boudoir T-Shirt
If you are struggling to figure out what to wear a go-to no brainer is a T-shirt and panties! It can be one of your own shirts or one of his! This is a great way to incorporate something you like, such as a favorite band, movie, character, the sky is the limit. Just make sure you like the way it fits, it shouldn’t be skin tight, but it shouldn’t drown you either. Pair it with some cute panties, lacy or cotton work best.
The Classic Black Boudoir
One look you do not want to skip is what I call “The Black Sexy Look” this is basically just an all black or mostly black outfit typically with heels. You can do black bra and panty, black body suit, black nightie or teddy. It can be paired with garter belt and thigh highs to really go bombshell, or you can leave a bare leg if that’s more your style, my client in this shoot did 2 black looks, one body suit and heels, the other a black robe.
The Boudoir Sweater Look
If you want something that is going to give you the cute, comfortable and sexy factor then a cute sweater is the way to go. Try something simple with one color and a large neckline if possible, this way we can pull if off one or both shoulders to give it a more sexy look. I would definitely avoid anything with a zipper.
Wear Nothing at All In Your Photos
I saved the best for last, if you only take one of my suggestions make it this one! Do the sheet only shots! What can I say, they flatter everyone and are a timeless gem in your boudoir collection, they look great in any album and can even be hung in your home! Plus everyone can pull it off!
