3 Reasons You Don’t Need to Lose Weight Before Your Boudoir Shoot

If I had a dollar for every time a woman said, “I really really want to do a boudoir photoshoot, but I am not where I want to be size-wise and I need to lose some weight.” Girl, I am here to tell you the top 3 reasons why that is not true!!!

You will look sexy without losing weight

I promise you that you will feel sexy and look amazing at your current size! I have photographed 100’s of women and know the best poses that flatter everybody! A full makeover is included with all of our sessions as well as professional retouching so that combined with skillful lighting techniques and posing you’ll look better than you ever thought possible! Put your trust in me to create the best photos you’ve ever had.

You will feel happier and more comfortable in your own skin

Who doesn’t want to feel content, just as they are!? I know the societal beauty standards today tell us we have to look a certain way to feel sexy, confident, and beautiful, but slowly as a society, we are learning to not listen to that BS! You will benefit so much from appreciating your body just as it is. Loving your body can also help you to appreciate it and in turn reach some of those goals that you may want to achieve. Boudoir photography can help you achieve those goals through self-love instead of self-hate.

You may not lose the weight

The truth is, you might not lose any weight. You may gain weight, you may get pregnant, or 100 other things may happen. Stop putting off something you really want to do. You’ll never be younger, more beautiful, or more perfect than you are right now! I’ve had so many women say they wish they had done their boudoir session sooner!

I had the opportunity to meet and photograph this amazing woman! She came over here to our Sanford studio from the Raleigh area. She wanted to do a boudoir shoot and allow me to share it to hopefully empower other women to do a shoot of their own. These photos speak for themselves, she looks ABSOLUTELY stunning!
