The Importance of Makeup

One of the things are most excited about when they book a session with me is the fact that they get to come to the studio and not worry about getting ready. My clients show up with a clean face, and dry hair, and the rest is taken care of. They get to relax for the first 90 minutes while their transformation takes place. Since I have been doing this type of photography for over a decade I have had a lot of experience with perfecting the makeup look for the way that I shoot. For the first 7 years of my business, I had a professional hair and makeup artist do all of my clients, but when I moved I couldn’t find a suitable artist that understood my exact style, that is when I started doing the hair and makeup myself. I have now been doing it for 3 years and I really enjoy the process! I can get the exact look I am going for since I know how I will be shooting my client and what kind of lighting I’ll be using. A huge part of the process is getting the perfect makeup look, I have photographed women who came in with their makeup done by themselves or another professional and it does not have the signature ShaRelle look. That is why my makeup service is complimentary and included with every session fee.
