It’s hard to believe it has been almost two years since my last boudoir blog post. Life, business, growth, and a lot of incredible sessions have happened during that time. So I thought it was the perfect moment to reconnect, share what’s been going on behind the scenes, and introduce the new ShaRelle Studios boudoir space.

For those who are new here, welcome! I’m ShaRelle — a boudoir photographer serving the Raleigh area, Fayetteville, and surrounding North Carolina communities. I’ve spent over 15 years photographing women, helping them feel confident, sexy, and comfortable in their own skin.

And over the past two years, that mission has only grown stronger.

Two Years of Growth, Change, and Confidence

The past couple of years have been full of change both personally and professionally. Like many women who walk into my studio, I’ve experienced life shifts that challenged me and ultimately helped me grow stronger.

What I’ve learned through all of it is something I see in my boudoir clients every day: confidence isn’t something you wait for — it’s something you choose.

Boudoir photography is one of the most powerful ways to reconnect with yourself. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, healing after a difficult season, preparing a gift for someone special, or simply wanting to feel sexy and confident again, these sessions are about honoring where you are right now.

And every woman deserves that experience.

Introducing the New ShaRelle Studios Boudoir Space

One of the biggest changes over the last two years is my new boudoir studio space.

This space was designed intentionally to create a comfortable, private environment where women can relax and truly enjoy the experience. It’s intimate, flattering, and perfect for creating those timeless boudoir images that make you feel incredible.

Every session includes:

• Professional hair and makeup

• Guided posing (you never have to know what to do!)

• A relaxed and supportive atmosphere

• Lighting designed to flatter all body types, including curvy women

My goal is always to create images that feel sexy, confident, and authentically you.

One thing I want every woman to know: you do not have to look a certain way to do a boudoir session.

Curvy, petite, athletic, tall — every body is welcome here.

Some of my favorite sessions are with women who say at the beginning, “I’m nervous” or “I don’t know if I can do this.” By the end of the shoot they’re laughing, glowing, and seeing themselves in a completely new way. Not to mention totally comfortable in their own skin!

After years of experience photographing women, I know how to pose, light, and guide you in a way that flatters your unique shape.

You don’t have to be a model.

You just have to show up.
